Good News: Yoongoo Named Finalist for the 2016 Entrepreneurship in Shanghai Competition

September is the golden season of harvest. The Shanghai Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the 5th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition announced the finalists on September 27th.

The judges have selected Yoongoo's innovative project, “We-Media based Sports Event Cloud Broadcasting Control System”, for the finals of the 2016 “Entrepreneurship in Shanghai" competition. Accordingly, Yoongoo won a cash prize from the Shanghai Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the 5th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

With the theme of “Entrepreneurship in Shanghai”, the Shanghai Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition aims to promote innovation of technology-oriented small and medium enterprises (SMEs), advocate innovative and entrepreneurial figures, establish innovative and entrepreneurial brands, create a number of science and technology entrepreneurial stars and mobilise the entire society for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Competition procedure:

Projects will be evaluated and judged at designated sites of the competition. All contestants will be assigned to a particular site according to criteria.

1. Competition format: On-site defence + online assessment for both preliminary and final rounds;

2. 8+7 defence mode: 8-minute presentation with PPT or video and 7-minute defence by project team;

3. The average scores given by the panel of the judges will be the final score;

4. The ranking of the scores within the same competition category will be used as the criteria for advancement or elimination.

The China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is a national-level innovation and entrepreneurship event jointly launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and hosted by the Shanghai Technology Innovation Center.
